Confidence^® XP

Confidence^® XP is a portable, two-channel electro-stimulation device, which was specifically designed to treat incontinence and relieve pelvic pain. The device is convenient and easy to use, making it perfect for home use. Confidence^® XP uses Electrical Muslce Stimulation (EMS) which is a widely used and recognised therapy, that aids in restoring normal muscle function. EMS aids rehabilitation by activating and strengthening weakened muscle and is clinically proven to be highly effective in the treatment of incontinence.

If any irritations, skin reactions, over-sensitivity or other side effects occur, please contact the neurotech^® team. In such cases stop use immediately. Irritations can usually be reduced by changing the position of the electrodes.

EMS works using comfortable electrical pulses to stimulate motor nerves in the target muscles. This produces a ‘contraction’ of the pelvic floor muscles, strengthening them and bringing you  closer to regaining correct muscle function and well on your way to rediscovering life’s freedom.

The table on page 17 of the user manual gives an indication of which program should be used for various types of indications.
