Muscle Rehabilitation

When muscles are not used they weaken. Weakened muscles make it difficult to move around and patients can experience difficulty performing certain tasks or worsen the risk of accidents. Strengthening these muscles is an important step in a patient’s rehabilitation plan.

AvivaStimXP™ was developed to prevent or slow down the atrophy or weakening of muscles often associated with reduced mobility. The device works by triggering muscles to contract and relax. Joint range of motion can also be improved. The device can be used to effectively relax muscle spasms and prevent the risk of venous thrombosis after surgery. It’s easy to use with pre-set programs.
