Established as market leaders in Europe we are now seeking a highly motivated sales professional with a demonstrated record of professional achievement to co-lead the further development of NNA’s Orthopaedic and DME sales network in the U.S. This is a “ground floor” opportunity to build the U.S. markets, reporting directly to the Vice President of North America Operations.
Candidate Profile:
NNA seeks an individual who is bright, fast-paced, action-oriented, and who has a track record of “deliverables.” Given the emerging growth stage nature of the division NNA seeks an individual who can work in a resource-lean, “do as well as delegate” environment. This person must have the capacity to think strategically, but operate tactically.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing a distribution network including both national and regional orthopedic distributors to drive sales of post-operative rehabilitation devices and chronic pain management devices. Along with being the primary contact for these accounts, this position will be responsible for training sales organizations and driving these organizations to achieve sales goals. The position will be responsible for establishing relationships with key healthcare professionals. In addition, this position will be responsible for collaborating with distributor accounts to educate commercial insurance providers about the company’s technology and its benefits. This involves establishing strong relationships with each stakeholder, working in partnership with healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and distributor accounts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage U.S. sales operations focused on driving annual revenue growth via a distributor based sales organization leveraging Orthopedic and DME distributors and dealers.
- Collaborate with management team to acquire and manage new distributors.
- Provide input to further develop the sales training function and organization to help distributors be appropriately prepared, knowledgeable about the category and products, and customer oriented.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and manage the initial sales stages for the launch of new products and/or new technologies.
- Collaborate with reimbursement consultants to develop reimbursement strategies and plans for products.
- Create and manage a network of Key-Opinion-Leaders, and maintain close relationships with clinical and technical healthcare providers.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as may be directed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as National or Regional Sales Manager. Experience in sales operations and sales training.
- Experience in reimbursement for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) based medical devices.
- Experience with deploying channel management strategies within a distribution network for orthopedic devices.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 60%+ overnight travel a must.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
