HIPPA Policy - Theragen & Neurotech

Theragen LLC and Neurotech NA, Inc. comply with all relevant regulations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) and the HIPPA HITECH Act. HIPPA is administered by the Office of Civil Rights, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Company handles all patient/client records in a manner that ensures the accuracy, accessibility, confidentiality, and security of the data according to HIPPA requirements and other Federal and State requirements.

Procedures
HIPPA (http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/index.html) established patients’ privacy rights over their health information, and rules on who can see patient medical records. The Company executes a Business Associate Agreement with any outside parties who work with the organization’s customers PHI. The Company has policies that describe the actions taken in the event of a breach of PHI. Please contact the Company for a copy of our formal HIPPA Policies.
